HACCP
QVD Dong Thap works closely with our consultant C&S Laboratory
Consultants INC to develop and monitor our Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) principles, which
are independently verified by the USDC biannually.
USDC
QVD Food Dong Thap is the first Pangasius
facility in the world in the National Marine Fisheries Service's, United States Department
of Commerce (USDC) Seafood Inspection program. We are inspected twice annually
for the implementation of our HACCP plan, hygiene of factory and
workers and the quality of the product we produce via a
comprehensive Quality Management Program (QMP).
IFS
QVD Dong Thap has achieved International Food Safety (IFS) Version 5
certification. This certification covers hundreds of items regarding
management, product safety, employee hygiene, and more, and exceeds the BRC certification that many overseas factories achieve.
BRC
QVD meets the certification requirements of The British Retail Consortium (BRC) Global Standard for Food Safety Issue 5, regarded as the benchmark for best practice in the food industry.
